Joining Information + Memberlist

HOW TO JOIN

1. Please check the memberlist below to make sure you're not already on it. We don't have a lot of extra time to field unnecessary notes.

2. Watch the group. This way, you can see important updates. We have a memberlist clean-up every year; if you aren't watching us, you may miss it.

3. Note the group with "Join" in the subject line. If you watched the club a week or more before sending your note, please say so in the body of the note.

4. You will, within 2 weeks, be added to the member list. We try to update every week, but should two weeks go by and you're still not on the list, please contact us. When you do, find your original note in your sent folder and use the "reply to" option; we may have lost the original note.

_{To cancel your membership: Simply note us with an intention to leave the club and we will remove you. Also, please note that any member banned from DA, inactive for 20 weeks or longer, or stating their intentions to permanently leave DA will also automatically be removed from our membership list.}

Umm, I'm thinking about joining, I don't have much time to myself and could probably never write a piece specifically for ProsePlease, but might be interested in posting or entering some of my current stuff. If that's applicable....

...anyway, this might be a stupid question, but the first step, watch the group, what do you mean by watch the group? Do you mean watch ProsePlease?

You have to send a note to ProsePlease to let us know you're interested in Joining. In the subject line of the note, you write "Join", so when we sort the notes, we know what it's about.
